What we do

From forest restoration to climate-smart agriculture and environmental education, our work connects conservation with the everyday practices of farmers, women, youth and herbal practitioners across Nigeria.

Agroforestry
We promote the integration of trees, crops, and other agricultural activities to improve environmental resilience, biodiversity, soil health, and agricultural productivity.

Biodiversity Conservation
We identify, document, protect, and multiply indigenous flora and fauna while supporting communities to become stewards of their natural environment.

Climate-Smart Agriculture
We train farmers and communities in agricultural practices that improve resilience to changing weather conditions while supporting food security and sustainable livelihoods.

Community Livelihoods
We help communities develop sustainable enterprises based on forest products, agriculture, value addition, and other nature-based economic opportunities.

Environmental Education
We educate young people, farmers, women, and community members about conservation, climate change, sustainable resource use, waste management, and environmental stewardship.

Flagship project
Aratu Nature & Wildlife Sanctuary.
Established in 2020 with support from the GEF Small Grants Programme, the Aratu Nature & Wildlife Sanctuary serves as a living classroom for conservation, research, and sustainable community tourism.
- 27 ha restored in the Agbado-Ekiti community forest
- 100-person training centre built inside the forest
- 12,000+ women and youths trained since 2021
- Indigenous nursery with 20,000+ seedlings raised
