Founded in 2000 and registered with the Ekiti State Government in 2008, Igbehinadun Agroforestry brings together farmers, agroforesters, herbal practitioners and rural community members.
Who We Are
Igbehinadun Agroforestry (I.A.), also known as Aratu, is dedicated to protecting and restoring community forests and conserving indigenous and endemic species.
Our work combines traditional knowledge with practical conservation, agroforestry, climate-smart agriculture, environmental education, and community enterprise development.
We believe that healthy forests create healthy communities. We are not simply planting trees — we help communities protect their natural heritage while creating sustainable livelihoods, preserving indigenous knowledge, and building resilience against climate change.
